5. Chicks on Waves
Based in the Algarve, Portugal. Ladies only surf + yoga retreats!
Chicks on Waves have been organising women retreats since 2008 and are all run by a group of incredible water-women with many years of experience conquering the waves.
Stay in Chicks on Waves' beautiful boutique surf lodge situated on the South Coast of The Algarve, Portugal over looking the sea. With more than 300 days of sunshine a year, with the Villa being a 5 minute walk from the beach what more could you want!

Bringing sisterhood to the sea, Chica Brava is Nicaragua's first only female surf retreat!
Where you will be staying boasts 500 acres of tropical reserves, and an infinity pool 1,200 feet above the bay, there is no way you couldn't feel relaxed. Just breath in and completely clear your mind!
All ingredients for meals are grown on site and as for wildlife, you will see lots of it as Jungle life is... well wild! Monkeys, sloths and of course, bugs! But that's nature.
Expect daily surf lessons with expert instructors and individual goal setting sessions with all equipment supplied. 8. Surf With Amigas
For all women!
Surf With Amigas is for all women, all ages, all surf levels; whether it's the first time you have got on a board or you are more advanced.
What we love about Surf With Amigas retreats is how much they focus on giving back to communities! They believe in 'Travelling with purpose'; travelling is more meaningful when you give back and leave the place a little bit better than when you arrived.
One of the organisations they work with is Waves of Hope; a non-profit organisation that helps build schools, homes and sponsor scholarships to students in Northern Nicaragua.
They also help sponsor local ladies kickball teams, helping them with money for transportation to games, and they help deliver and buy books for children in Costa Rica, reaching the indigenous communities attending very remote schools.
